Terms of Use — Kaffa App

By using the Kaffa app ("the App"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.
1. What the App Does
The App helps you estimate the calories and nutrients in your meals by analyzing food photos with AI. It can also help you calculate your daily needs and keep a log of your meals.
2. These Numbers Are Estimates ⚠️
- Every number in the App is an estimate based on the photo and general nutrition databases
- The actual numbers will vary depending on how the food was cooked, hidden ingredients, how much oil was used, and portion size
- The App is not a medical device and does not provide medical or dietary advice
- Don't use it to make treatment decisions. If you have a health condition, are pregnant, or are following a therapeutic diet, talk to a specialist
3. Acceptable Use
You agree that you will: - Use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only - Not try to hack the service, exceed usage limits, or use automated tools - Not upload photos that violate the law or contain other people's personal data without their permission
We may suspend your account if you violate these Terms.
4. Subscriptions and Payment
- Subscriptions are handled through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms
- Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends
- Cancellations and refunds are handled through your Apple account settings — we don't have the ability to issue refunds directly
- We may change prices in the future, and we'll notify you before any change takes effect
Fair Use Limits
Subscriptions come with daily and monthly limits on the number of meals you can log, shown inside the App. This helps us keep the service running smoothly for everyone.
5. Content and Intellectual Property
- Your photos and data belong to you. You give us a limited license to use them only to run the service
- The App's name, design, and content belong to us and may not be copied or reused without permission
6. Affiliate Links
The App may include links to outside stores (like supplement retailers). We may earn a commission if you make a purchase through these links, at no extra cost to you. We're not responsible for the products or services sold by those stores.
7. Limits on Our Liability
The service is provided "as is." To the extent allowed by law, we're not responsible for indirect damages resulting from your use of the App or your reliance on its estimates. In any case, our total liability will never exceed what you paid us in the last 12 months.
8. Discontinuing the Service
We may change or discontinue the service, and we'll try to give you advance notice when possible. You can delete your account at any time.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Saudi Arabia, and Saudi courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
